Friday the 13th The Game lets you step into the chilling world of the legendary horror icon Jason Voorhees. Set in the infamous Camp Crystal Lake, the multiplayer game pits one player as Jason against up to six others playing camp counselors trying to survive. The counselors can choose to hide from Jason or cooperate to escape the camp. The developers at IllFonic have meticulously recreated Camp Crystal Lake, including cabins, tents, the lake itself, and surrounding forests, providing a faithful and immersive experience true to the film series. Currently centered on multiplayer, a single-player mode was announced for summer 2017 but little information is available. In this upcoming mode, players will also embody Jason and complete various missions, with a story set before the counselors realize the threat lurking in the lake. This promises to expand the Friday the 13th The Game experience with new objectives and narrative depth. Key features of Friday the 13th The Game Xbox One include: - Asymmetric multiplayer gameplay with one player as Jason and others as counselors - Detailed and accurate recreation of Camp Crystal Lake environments - Multiple strategies: hide or work together to survive - Planned single-player missions exploring Jason's backstory Get ready to test your survival instincts or instill fear as Jason.
