How to Redeem Your Xbox One or Series X Key or Wallet Credit

If you want to redeem a wallet credit or game code on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X, you can easily follow our step-by-step guide.

Redeeming on Xbox One:

On the home screen, select the MICROSOFT STORE app and open it. Alternatively, access it via MY GAMES & APPS > APPS > STORE.
Once the STORE app opens, navigate all the way to the left with your controller to open the menu.
Select "REDEEM" or "Redeem a code" from the side menu.
Enter the 25-character code; the hyphens will be added automatically by the system. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
You can now download your game or spend your wallet credit in the store.

Redeeming on Xbox Series X:

Sign in to your Xbox account; if you do not have one, you must create one first.
On the home screen of your Xbox Series X console, open the MICROSOFT STORE app.
Scroll to "REDEEM CODE" or "Redeem" found on the left side of the screen under your "Account."
Enter the 25-character code.
Your game will be ready to download, or your wallet credit will be added to your account.

Redeeming on the Website:

Go to redeem.microsoft.com in your browser and open the page.Sign in to your Microsoft account; if you don’t have one, create it first—this is the same account you will use on your console.When prompted, enter the 25-character game or wallet credit code.
Now your wallet credit is redeemed on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, and you can start your download or spend your balance.
Using the same method, you can also redeem Xbox Game Pass subscriptions or other codes.
