How Planetkey.net Works

Planetkey.net is one of Germany’s oldest price comparison websites and operates much like any other online comparison platform, always offering you the best price for your game key. Digital keys for games can only be created by the publisher or developer, never by third parties!

Where do the shops’ keys come from?

Most games on Planetkey.net are cheaper than in brick-and-mortar stores or from official resellers. This is made possible by purchasing from abroad. We also have a detailed article on this topic. You can legally and quickly buy keys, wallet credits, and accounts through our price comparison. Additionally, exclusively online trading tends to be cheaper and offers greater competition, which also lowers prices. In the end, developers always earn the same percentage from a game, whether it’s a key or a boxed version.

How safe is it to buy a key through Planetkey.net?

Very safe! Every shop in our price comparison is verified and thoroughly tested. If a shop draws attention due to many support requests directed to us or receives numerous negative reviews, we contact and review the shop and remove it immediately from the price comparison if necessary.

We constantly stay up to date to continuously improve our quality.

Are the key shops really secure?

Of course they are, but you can also visit our Shop rating page where users like you have rated individual shops and left comments.

How do the vouchers work?

Vouchers are listed directly under the price in the price comparison and can be entered on the shop’s site. We do not benefit from these; this service is offered solely for you as a customer. We strive to obtain discount codes from shops or negotiate a few extra percentage points off your purchase.

At Planetkey.net, we stand behind the fact that shops are anonymously checked regularly, and new shops are only added after thorough examination. Your safety and budget are very important to us. Saving securely means saving better!
