Kunitsu-Gami - Path of the Goddess is an action game developed by Capcom, set in a fictional version of ancient Japan where gods (Kami) and demons (Oni) coexist with humans to maintain balance. A dark force has corrupted both humans and peaceful demons, disrupting this harmony. Players take on the role of a hero wielding a katana, tasked with confronting this evil threat. The gameplay combines fast-paced sword combat reminiscent of Devil May Cry with strategic and tower-defense elements. Each level begins with an area overtaken by evil, where corrupted humans must be freed to gain their assistance in battles.
