Dying Light - The Following is a substantial expansion DLC that enriches your PlayStation 4 version of Dying Light with exciting new content and hours of gameplay. The story is set around the events of the main game, where Kyle Crane discovers a settlement near Harran whose inhabitants are immune to the virus. Exploring this area, players encounter mysterious cultists who fearlessly confront zombies without harm. This sets the stage for uncovering secrets and potentially finding a way to protect friends back in Harran. The new map, the countryside around Harran, is larger than all of the original game areas combined. It features a diverse landscape including fields, villages, forests, and even a small town. To navigate the vast terrain more quickly, Kyle now has access to a handy buggy vehicle, which is a notable addition that enhances the core gameplay. The buggy is well designed, offering fast travel and new tactical possibilities. This DLC inherits the strengths of Dying Light's original blend of brutal melee combat, agile parkour movement, and a deep role-playing system. Progress requires crafting new gear, developing abilities, and devising strategies to combat the swift zombies. The game's hallmark is its sense of flow—constant movement and meaningful encounters, even if it's just finding a valuable supply.
